Clear and COLD, -18 F, no new snow. Trails groomed: Rendezvous, Dead Dog, Biathlon Range and Sprint loops, Drewski, Deja View, Volunteer, Jerry's, the Doodle, Shepards, Tele Hill, and the kids loops. Skate and classic most places, no classic on the Sprint loops today or the parts of the 5 K race loop close to the stadium.

Trails groomed: Rendezvous, Dead Dog, Volunteer, Jerry's, the Doodle, Deja View, the Biathlon Range and today's Biathlon race loops. Machine groomed powder, skate and classic. No classic tracks on the Biathlon, Blue,Green and Orange today.
To the skiers who thought it was fun to ski last night while the trails were closed for grooming: The snow right now is old, dry and very fine grained. It takes a lot of time and energy (fuel) to tear it apart and put it back together as a nice smooth ski surface with good classic tracks. While that is happening the surface is very soft, and your skis dig deep skate marks and ruts in the fresh surface. These ruts then set up hard, just like the classic tracks do overnight. You were skating on the freshly groomed Biathlon race courses, basically tearing them up for your own enjoyment with little thought for others who might ski later. Most of it was groomed again, some I could not get to. The worst part is I had to delay grooming the rest of the trails until after midnight, just finishing now at 6 AM. What will happen today is the trails will be softer because they did not have the long setup and curing time, this includes today's Biathlon race course. Classic tracks will not hold up as well as if they were groomed earlier. Grooming operations occur daily between 7pm and 12am. All skiers MUST stay off the trails during this time. Don't be the ones to ruin skiing for everyone else!
Clear and 19 F. Trails groomed: Rendezvous, Dead Dog, and Deja View. Too many night skiers in the stadium area and out on courses to continue grooming this evening. Safety and not having to worry about hitting someone or backing over a skier is more important than a bit of fresh corduroy. Clear and cold, 0 f.
Trails groomed: Rendezvous, Dead Dog, Windy Ridge from Dead Dog to the powerline, Deja View, Biathlon Range, Sprint loops, Drewski, Washburn, Jerry's and the Doodle. Skate and classic. Use caution on Windy, the ground is not as smooth out there so things area a bit lumpy at this snow level. Clear and cold, 0 F. Trails groomed: Rendezvous, Dead Dog, Deja View, Biathlon Range, Volunteer, Jerry's, the Doodle, Drewski and Tele Hill. Machine groomed powder, skate and classic.
Clear and cold, beautiful moon, stars and minus 5 F. Trails groomed: Freshened up Rendezvous, Deja View, Biathlon Range and parts of the stadium. Nice skiing tomorrow.
Clear skis and 7 F. Two to three inches of new overnight snow. Trails groomed: Rendezvous, Dead Dog, Deja View, Sheperd's, Drewski, Spencer's, the Biathlon Range and Penalty loop, both Sprint loops, Jerry's and the Doodle, and Volunteer. Machine groomed powder, skate and classic. Skiing is getting very good.
19 F and light snow falling. Trails groomed: Rendezvous, Dead Dog, Deja View, Volunteer, Jerry's and the Doodle, Biathlon Range and the short Sprint Loop. Skate and Classic, machine groomed powder, very good conditions.
A skiff of new overnight snow, 22 F. Trails groomed: Rendezvous, Dead Dog, Deja View, Biathlon Range and both Sprint Loops, Volunteer, Jerry's and the Doodle. Really nice early season skiing. Skate and classic 5.5 meters wide, skate lane is starting to stiffen, should be very nice skiing with the mild temperatures.
25 F and snow showers, between one and two inches of new snow last night. Trails groomed: Rendezvous, Dead Dog, and Deja view. Skate and classic, very good early season conditions.
One to two inches of new snow, clear and cold, 6 F. Trails groomed: Rendezvous, Dead Dog, Biathlon Range, Deja View, most of the Sprint Loops, Volunteer, Jerry's and the Doodle. Trails continue to improve with each new snowfall. Good skis look possible except for the South Plateau road crossing. Wolf tracks and heavily snow laden trees, what more could you ask for?25 F, light snow falling. Trails groomed: Volunteer, Washburn, Biatlon Range and penalty loop, Rendezvous, Purple Haze and Dead Dog. Conditions are improving rapidly, almost all the rougher spots have filled in and trails conditions are almost very good. Good skis with care. Even classic looks to be full coverage every where. South Plateau road crossing is the only dicey spot
The eight inches of heavy wet is starting to settle and freeze. Trails groomed: Rendezvous, Biathlon Range, Deja View, both Sprint Loops, Drewski, Jerry's and the doodle. Almost all trails have classic and skate. I expect that Deja, Jerry's and the Doodle will be a bit soft in the center, but most of the classic looks very good. Early season conditions, so ski with care.
Packing has started on rendezvous. 8-9 inches of very wet snow. No tracks or corduroy yet.
